Wind on water – Spain’s DemoSATH
Spain successfully launched DemoSATH in 2023, its first floating offshore wind turbine. Connected to the electrical grid, it is the fifth floating technology in Europe with a turbine over 1 MW to operate on the open sea. It is also the continent's third concrete-based technology to reach this stage.
