Maximise turbine performance: Connect. Partner. Succeed. – Visit SKF at WindEurope in Bilbao this April!

Now is the time for the wind industry to return to normal, and large-scale events provide an ideal setting for networking and the exchange of ideas between industry stakeholders: SKF recognizes that fact and will therefore be present to connect with you at WindEurope in Bilbao from April 5 to 7. The Wind Farm Management Blog presents the key topics that SKF will cover.

After almost two years of cancellations and virtual events, one of the sector’s biggest conferences is opening its doors again in Bilbao, Spain: WindEurope. The event takes place between April 5 and 7 this year and provides a setting for the most important players in the industry to talk all things wind.

That means that SKF will set up shop in the Bilbao Exhibition Centre and reveal comprehensive approaches to maximising sustainable turbine performance at the lowest possible total cost of ownership.

What to expect from SKF

SKF can be found in an interactive digital booth in Hall 1. The exhibitors will focus on several pressing aspects of wind turbine engineering. Alongside reoccurring topics like spare parts and lubrication management, SKF will also discuss main shaft repair services, the Wind Reliability Platform, and proper bearing selection and design for wind turbine drivetrains.

In addition to the representation at the booth, SKF will also take part in the event program with a formal discussion and two poster presentations. The talk will center on offshore turbines and components. Attendees can expect to be introduced to a brand-new bearing solution and rating life models that can increase torque density and improve field performance!

The poster presentations will be held between the main program speeches and aim to convey further insights into SKF’s research and technical developments. The first presentation will address digital solutions for wind main shaft components, while the second will focus on condition monitoring systems for system alarm management.

Does all this sound like something you are interested in? If so, come and visit us in Bilbao in Hall 1, Booth 1-C45. We’re looking forward to connecting with you!
