Despite its small size, Husum, Germany is a hot spot for exhibitions. The north German town hosts seven trade fairs a year on average and is the location of the biennial HUSUM Wind. The event will welcome more than 600 national and international exhibitors on September 10–13, 2019 as well as 18,000 trade visitors. The trade fair will feature presentations in both German and English.
What’s on display?
The products, services, and innovations on show cover the entire value chain in wind energy. Exhibitors will be showcasing everything from individual wind turbine components to services for project planning, maintenance, logistics, and energy storage. The conference format will also give decision makers the opportunity to discuss ways in which to reduce the levelized cost of energy through new practices and technologies. As a result, the event has something for everyone who works in wind energy – including manufacturers, suppliers, operators, service providers, and investors.
SKF to share insights into its latest developments in wind
SKF will be present and its team of experts will be at stand 0F08. The company will also be sending a team of experts to contribute with presentations. The presentations will focus on trend topics that are shaping the wind energy sector at present. Michael Slembeck, Strategic Accounts and Industry Sales Development Manager, will share insights into the circular economy and how wind enterprises can benefit from remanufacturing. Philipp Schmid, Strategic Marketing Manager, will explain how performance-based contracts offer a new approach to maintenance that can boost uptime and reduce costs in the long term.
